Independent celebrants prepare and conduct the spoken part of funeral services.
Chris Eldon Lee creates sensitive tailor-made ceremonies for you and your loved ones – respecting all faiths and none
Chris has been a BBC Radio 4 producer and a playwright for 25 years. As an oral historian, he received the BBC’s Gold Award for showcasing the ‘extraordinary’ lives or ‘ordinary’ people. His comedy group ‘Three Men in a Bow Tie’ is still performing two decades after its inception at Shrewsbury School.
What you might not know is that Chris is also a fully certificated member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants.
Working closely with you and your family, he combines his listening, writing and presentation skills to create a personalised healing ceremony for your loved ones at a difficult time.
The Fellowship sets a national standard for best practice and professionalism in independent celebrancy. People turn to us when they ‘believe in something’ but are not regular churchgoers.
